This upgraded battery cable kit replaces old worn out battery cables for more power and better performance from your vehicle.

Fine-strand, SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) approved copper cable, copper terminals crimped and sealed with marine grade heatshrink. Also included are military style corrosion resistant battery connections and an ANL fuse and holder. Every end will be labeled for ease of installation.

2GA or 1/0 GA? Which to choose?

As far as 2GA vs 1/0 GA, it's really going to depend on what mods you're going to do to. If you're staying stock, then 2GA is plenty, but if you're looking at modifying it down the road (winches/lights/etc) and want to future proof, then you'd want 1/0 GA.

Excellent upgrade from crusty stock cables.

This is an excellent upgrade/replacement for 20 year old crusty cables on my 2004 ram. I went with the 1/0 gauge and added terminal covers on the terminals and a heat sleeve on the starter cable since it runs close to long tube headers. Everything was labeled and installation was straightforward. On the 3rd Gen Ram with the 5.7, the starter needs to be removed to access the cable stud. Two bolts and a bit of tetris.

On this early 3rd Gen, I found the best place to install the fuse holder was along the battery tray, secured with zip ties. I may eventually make an metal bracket but for now, the zip ties work.

Many electrical gremlins and a huge swath of various check engine lights were eliminated with solid system voltage and good grounds. Starting is near instantaneous. These cables were not cheap but I have absolute confidence that they will last the remaining life of this truck.

Major Improvement

Finally got finished installing this kit on my 95 and man is it great. Removing the ground wire from the alternator and rerouting that power through a fuse to the PDC is a game changer. The kit was seamless and with Paul’s help I was able to install it no problem. Now it’s ready for accessories in the future

Everything was great. The cables were all labeled clearly, they were the correct lengths, and the terminal ends fit perfectly. The battery terminals are well made, and make disconnecting the cables quick and easy. Overall, a definite improvement over the factory cables and terminals. Great product!

The ends of each wire being labeled really helped out. Good quality stuff. Seems right. Definitely fixed my original cables that were so corroded the insulation was cracked and falling apart.

I bought the 1/0 GA kit, easy install. Be careful with the plastic white bracket under the the front of engine block (going to starter). Slow and steady. Sturdy kit, well made and easy to install. Give them a call or shoot them an email, the customer service team here is really helpful and will answer your questions. Paul was ready to help!
